Molte cose fanno male...

Nella vita molte cose fanno male, molte cose ti colpiscono dentro, nell'anima.
Fa male uno schiaffo, una litigata, veder piangere una persona a te cara, un addio, un semplice saluto negato. Fa male essere feriti, ma fa ancora più male essere ignorati.
Ma nulla, nulla fa male quanto vedere la persona di cui sei innamorata regalare i suoi sorrisi e le sue attenzioni ad una persona che non sei tu.
Quando succede, pensi che quella persona avresti potuto essere tu, ma in realtà sei da sola ad osservare. Oggi mi è capitato di riflettere su questo quando, in biblioteca, ho visto tre ragazzi seduti vicini. Due di loro erano una coppia, apparentemente felice ed affiatata. La terza persona era una ragazza, e mentre gli altri due ridevano e scherzavano sottovoce, sussurrandosi frasi dolci nell'orecchio, lei osservava il ragazzo con sguardo malinconico e rassegnato. In quella ragazza ho rivisto me stessa in questo momento: sapere che lui è andato avanti, mentre io sono ferma al punto di partenza, non mi va giù. Immaginarlo mentre stringe tra le braccia un'altra ragazza, mentre la bacia, le sorride, la riempie di attenzioni, mi fa più male di una pugnalata al petto. E vedere ogni loro gesto, nella mia mente, mi fa cadere sempre più il mondo addosso.
Io mi chiedo: come può una persona dipendere in maniera così spropositata da un'altra, da doversi aggrappare ai ricordi vissuti con essa per poter trovare pace? Come può qualcuno essere padrone della felicità di un essere umano?
